First Lego League is a nationally recognized program to help elementary age students learn the basics of problem solving, teamwork, programming, and gracious professionalism through the use of Lego kits to design robots to solve specific problems. Center students at each of our elementary schools work as teams and compete and regional competition. Participation in First Lego league exposes students to science, math, engineering, and design skills that help them build enthusiasm and skills for a wide variety of future educational and career opportunities. The Center Education Foundation helped to get First Lego started in the Center School District six years ago and we continue to support the program for over 150 students.
